About us

Scandiglaze was created when ceramist Marie noticed that there was very little selection of colorful underglaze colors available in the Nordic region. She wanted the opportunity to choose between more colors, and felt that the underglazes available on the market often disappointed.
quality, color intensity and price.

After hearing a lot of positive things about Kiwi underglazes, she contacted Kiwi and asked about the opportunity to test their glazes. The underglazes were so impressive in quality and color selection that Marie quit her job and became a distributor for Kiwi in the Nordics! Today, Marie works full-time with Scandiglaze, helping other creative creators with questions and tricks when using underglazes. She has her creative partner, Vetle, on the team, who helps with the online store, filming and editing videos, and everything else that needs to be done!
